Pets For Sale

Some pets for sale come straight from a farm; conservation is the act by which animals, among other things, are preserved and kept from harm. There are no more than 500 species left in the wild, and about as many in zoos. If current tendencies persist, soon these animals will only be observable in zoos. In the wild, they live about 10 years, and twice as long in captivity. They have several adaptations that enable them to withstand the rigors of their habitat. Their thick coats provide excellent protection from cold, and their striped coats act as a camouflage. Simply put, nothing in their habitat is so menacing to them as dollar-oriented poachers and corrupt officials whose avarice and irresponsibility has put so many animals on the brink of destruction. The Siberian Tiger is the biggest and most beautiful and magnificent wild feline. He can be found in the Far East, and is now very much in danger of extinction. The use of his bones for medical purposes and poaching has contributed to a dramatic decrease in his population. Unfortunately, poaching has increased over the last decade, and local laws are not effective enough to be a real obstacle to poachers. The guardians from the World Wide Fund are not welcome in a region, where killing tigers is but the only way for local people to make money. Some pets for sale come straight from a farm; conservation is the act by which animals, among other things, are preserved and kept from harm.
